"Breaking the Silence" ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe der Band Jevatta und der Junction Bar.
Zur Entstehung:
Nachdem wir am 07.04.2023 zum ersten Mal "Breaking the Silence" veranstaltet haben, kam uns die Idee diese Veranstaltung jährlich an Karfreitag und Karsamstag in der Junction Bar zu wiederholen. Ostern 2024 war es dann soweit - fünf Bands, an zwei Abenden. Dabei waren: GATE X, Ruin Royal, From Bottle To Brain, Letzte Abfahrt Tegel Süd und die Gastgeber von Jevatta.
Unser Ziel:
In der Vergangenheit waren Veranstaltungen an Karfreitag verboten. Dies finden wir jedoch (und vor allem für eine Weltmetropole) nicht mehr zeitgemäß, daher brechen wir nun die Stille, ohne jemanden auszugrenzen! Ziel ist es alle Konfessionen, Atheisten, etc. mit einander zu vereinen. Es sind natürlich alle herzlich dazu eingeladen - LET'S ROCK!
