Description
Localize, das Festival für Stadt, Kultur und Kunst zieht für ein Wochenende auf brachliegendes Gewerbegelände am Fuße des Telegrafenbergs Potsdam. An der Michendorfer Chaussee 10, zwischen Einsteinturm im Wissenschaftspark und Bundesstraße, öffnet Localize einen Möglichkeitsraum für künstlerische Positionen, die neue Perspektiven auf und abseits der Stadtentwicklung werfen.
Unter dem Motto “Übern Berg” wird nicht nur die geografische Lage des Areals am Telegrafenberg, jenseits der Innenstadt, betont, sondern auch danach gefragt, welche Rolle der Kultur beim Überwinden gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen zukommt und eine Bestandsaufnahme nach über zwei Jahren Pandemie gewagt.
Künstlerische Interventionen, Installationen, Live-Performances, Workshops & Konzerte laden dazu ein Unwägbarkeiten der Zukunft zu befragen, Konflikte der Gegenwart zu verhandeln und Utopien der Überwindung zu entwickeln.
Nur drei Busstationen vom Hauptbahnhof Potsdam entfernt, erwarten 1,2 Hektar Fläche, drinnen und draußen die Besucher:innen mit Klängen, Bildern, Gesprächen, Bewegung, Spielen, Performances, Objekten, Aktionen, Installationen und große Ideen.
