Die Mid EUROPE ist ein bedeutendes internationales Blasmusik Festival und steht für stilistische Vielfalt in faszinierender Qualität, wobei Blasmusik in allen ihren Facetten künstlerisch zum Besten gegeben wird. Das Festival bringt unterschiedlichste Musikstile wie klassische Bläsermusik, symphonische Blasmusik, traditionelle böhmische Klänge, Swing bis hin zu rockigen und populären Grooves auf die Bühnen.
Es werden Musikerinnen und Musiker aus rund 15 Nationen erwartet, die ihr Können vor breitem Publikum präsentieren, sich mit Kollegen auszutauschen und um Fortbildungen im Rahmen der Meisterkurse sowie Workshops zu absolvieren. Musikinteressierte, Gäste, Freunde: Alle sind zu den hochkarätigen Hallen-, Open-Air- und Kirchenkonzerten eingeladen.
Das Festival wird mit einem Konzert der Spitzenklasse durch das Polizeiorchester Bayern eröffnet – ein mitreißendes Konzert mit Gänsehaut- Feeling! Weitere Höhepunkte sind einmal mehr die Lange Nacht am Donnerstag sowie das Kinderkonzert zum Mitmachen am Mittwoch Vormittag. Ganz besondere Erlebnisse sind auch die Kirchenkonzerte in Haus im Ennstal sowie die Marsch-Show Schladming Tattoo.
