Das Southside Open-Air Festival vom 21. bis 23. Juli 2023 im Forsthaus Mühlthal zwischen Starnberg Nord und Gauting bietet eine breite Palette an Elektronischer Tanzmusik, darunter Melodic und Dark Techno, Trance, Hard Techno, Psytrance und Groove. Auf verschiedenen Areas können Besucher tagsüber bei 123 Bpm starten und bis ca. 135 Bpm tanzen, während Indoor je nach Stage und Uhrzeit eine Bpm Skala von 135-160 Bpm angeboten wird. Das Gelände bietet Platz für über 1000 Personen, darunter eine Beach Area entlang der Würm mit Kunst- und Kultur-Bereichen, Chill-Areas und Rückzugsorten. Das Line-Up umfasst über 30 DJs und Musiker, darunter Headliner, lokale Kollektive, unabhängige Künstler und unentdeckte Talente. Die Preise sind fair gestaltet, ein Teil der Einnahmen wird an eine wohltätige Organisation gespendet.
