2023 ist für den BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME ein ganz besonderes Jahr, denn er feiert sein 10-jähriges Bestehen. 2013 tauchte ein völlig neues Clubmusic Spektakel in der internationalen Festivalszene auf. Das Frankfurter Stadion wurde erstmals in den „größten Club der Welt“ umgebaut. Mittlerweile zählt der WORLD CLUB DOME zur Elite der elektronischen Musikevents weltweit und findet zu Lande neben Deutschland auch in Südkorea oder Malta statt. Doch hat das Team um Bernd Breiter bereits in luftigen Höhen mit den größten DJs der Welt gefeiert, wie zum Beispiel auf einem Gletscher, in der Schwerelosigkeit und nicht zuletzt in Space auf der Internationalen Raumstation ISS. Und selbst Kreuzfahrtschiffe und ICE Schnellzüge wurden zu Clubs umgebaut.
ATLANTIS EDITION
Zum 10. Geburtstag lässt der WORLD CLUB DOME nun ein verwunschenes Inselreich auferstehen: Atlantis! Vom 9. bis 11. Juni 2023 erhebt sich die versunkene Insel aus den Tiefen des Meeres und verzaubert den Frankfurter Stadionwald. Es war der griechische Philosoph Platon, der erstmals ein mystisches Inselreich erwähnt, das 9600 vor Christus infolge einer Naturkatastrophe innerhalb eines Tages und einer Nacht untergegangen sein soll. Seitdem tauchen überall auf der Welt sagenumwobene Geschichten über die „Insel des Atlas“ auf.
Wenn sich die Großstadtschläge mit den mystischen Geschichten einer versunkenen Insel verbinden, entsteht Magie. Der Beat einer versunkenen Metropole empfängt die Besucher und lässt sie in eine sagenhafte Welt eintauchen.
